I was very happy with this one, and it is still my best scoring piece in the competition. There's definitely some bleed through from a book I was reading at the time, The Kingdom of the Gods by N.K. Jemisin, which confused the judges. Can you spot it?

The prologue to my very first novel, The Stonewood. This project was very much a learning experience, but I like to go back and reference it some times to see how far I've come. Don't be too harsh to my young, inexperienced self.
